Adarsh English Medium School was established in June 1989. This co-educational school is located at Indira Nagar (Near New Govt. Hospital) Amaravathi Plots , Chenchupet , Tenali, Pin 522201. Our foremost aim of education is to inculcate all round development in students. We at Adarsh strive hard to achieve this aim. Through curricular, co curricular, and extracurricular activities. The majestic school building has 28 spacious (20x20) class rooms which are well furnished and has adequate ventilation. It is a building meant only for school. It is located in a pollution free environment. Fire safety equipment is installed. The school has two staircases for the free and brisk movement of the students. A stage "Adarsh Kalavedika" facilitates to showcase the artistic and creative abilities of the students. The school supplies un-interrupted power . Hygienic restrooms are provided for boys and girls separately on each floor. Children are severed chilled R O water in every floor. The class rooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors.
The school conduct classes from LKG to X in English medium.
The text books prescribed in primary school are of national standards.
Play way teaching is adopted in kindergarten.
The subjects prescribed are Telugu, Hindi, English, Math, Science and social.
From classes VIII to X science is divided into two books, Physical science and Natural science.
IIT Coaching is given for students from Class VI onwards.
IIT Tests are conducted periodically.
Certificates are awarded to the best in tests.
A slip test is conducted at the end of every lesson. The children appear for four formative exams and three summative exams per year. The results of the test and exams are communicated to the parent through SMS initially and later by report sheet, which the parent is expected to return after duly signing.
Term I : Fee should be paid in the month of June.
Term II : Fee should be paid in the month of November.
The school has arranged buses and vans for the pupil from all parts of the town and nearby villages.
Conveyance charges will be fixed depending on the distance .
The students are grouped under four Houses namely NETAJI, VIVEKANANDA, RUDRAMADEVI AND JHANSI RANI. House captains are given training in organizing various activities. A number of inter house competitions in co- curricular activities and extra curricular activities are held to develop and encourage healthy competitive spirit. House volunteers help in maintaining school discipline.
